OATI Wraps Up Fall 2018 Events

This fall OATI experts traveled and attended various events in the United States: the 2018 MN Energy Expo, the Gulf Coast Power Association Fall Conference (GCPA) in Texas, and the Cooperative Technology Conference in Illinois.

2018 MN Energy Expo
Glen Fisher, Business Development of OATI, attended the 12th MN Energy Expo (2018) held at the Radisson Blu at Mall of America, Bloomington, MN on September 24, 2018. Glen was among four invited speakers at the expo to share his years of expertise on the functioning of energy industry, its evolution, and future growth possibilities. This annual expo had three session tracks to provide attendees an opportunity to network, meet with vendors, and attend educational sessions focused on research of energy efficient technologies.

Gulf Coast Power Association Fall Conference
OATI professionals Jacob Cain and Sheldan Perry, along with 600+ Power Professionals, engaged in discussions and debates during the GCPA Fall Conference held at the AT&T Conference Center in Austin, TX on October 02 – 03, 2018. At the OATI booth, our experts discussed emerging energy industry topics and showcased solutions such as the OATI Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) solution.

Cooperative Technology Conference
Steve, Midwest Account Executive, attended the Cooperative Technology Conference held at the Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, Normal, IL on October 03 – 05, 2018. This annual conference offered cooperative members and other energy industry professionals the opportunity to network, attend educational sessions and training sessions, and meet with vendors on the tradeshow floor. During the three-day conference, Steve manned the OATI booth where he discussed problems faced by cooperatives and highlighted how OATI’s webSmartEnergy solutions can help with Electric Vehicle Charging Station Networks and ManagementmicrogridsConservation Voltage Reduction (CVR), and Distributed Energy Resource Management.
