According to Phys.org, Mexico could implement several more wind and solar parks within the next two years.
Last month, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) released their Renewable Power Generation Costs in 2018 report, which found that the global weighted-average cost of electricity from solar PV and onshore wind power decreased by 13 percent last year. As renewable power generation costs continue to fall, solar PV and onshore wind power are expected to be more cost-effective than fossil-fuels, according to the report.
