OATI’s Kent Fisher attended the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association 72nd Annual Conference on May 21 – 23 held at Grand Hotel Marriot Point Clear, Alabama. The conference is the largest yearly event of the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association, Inc. (TVPPA) and focuses on engaging important issues electric utilities face in the industry.
 
TVPPA conferences in the past have been a great source of new and innovative ideas for utility industry professionals. The sole objective of every conference is to offer valuable information that they can take with themselves and generate better business results. The TVPPA conferences have provided a plethora of networking opportunities between colleagues and subject matter experts.
 
More than 700 guests came together for this year’s conference. The conference kicked off with the annual Golf tournament which was followed by a multitude of informative and educational events.
