Project spotlight: Minneapolis community microgrids
Resilience doesn’t come in a one-size-fits-all package. It’s a destination that requires a tailored approach based on individual goals. OATI’s GridMind® MicroGrid controls are enabling Renewable Energy Partners to establish a community resilience hub for Minneapolis Public Schools featuring a total of 1,250 kW of solar power and 2,000 kWs of energy storage across four public school buildings. During normal operations, the microgrid will lower energy costs for the school district. As the market’s most bankable solution, OATI GridMind Microgrid dispels the narrative that resilience is out of reach.
