OATI Energy Conference 2026: Call for Speakers

Wynn Las Vegas | Las Vegas, NV

Oct 6-9, 2026.

The energy industry is in the midst of massive transformation. The OATI Energy Conference takes utilities, regulators, power producers, energy traders, and power grid operators INTO THE FUTURE with the technology innovation and vision to keep up with an evolving power grid.

For the first time ever, you can apply to speak at the OATI Energy Conference— the energy industry’s home for in-depth collaboration on the future of power grid planning, operations, and innovation.

Featured topics

Bulk power operations, reliability, and markets

Never before has there been a greater number of threats facing power system reliability. Innovation, however, provides an opportunity to not only fortify the existing system but ensure it meets the needs of the future. These sessions should focus on energy market and trading evolutions and transmission operations.

AI in power system operations

Utility and energy leaders are finally ready to embrace AI tools, but when critical infrastructure and operations are involved, a unique level of scrutiny is required to ensure success. These sessions will focus on how AI is impacting power grid operations from both the strategic and technical view points.

Energy executive leadership and planning

Utility executives must balance reliability, security, regulatory, and affordability mandates when investing in next-gen power grid infrastructure. These sessions should focus on the strategies for technology implementation and validation for a C-Suite audience.

Types of content you can submit

Presentations are ideal for explaining specific technical strategies, case studies, and market trends from a single perspective. All presentations should be timely, relevant, and innovative, ensuring that they add new information to the energy industry discourse or tackle a near-term audience need, like a market development or regulatory shift.

Panels or fireside chats should feature key audience groups like utilities, grid operators, independent power producers, project developers, tribal nations, and/or government and community leaders for a collaborative conversation on the energy industry’s biggest challenges. While some panels may feature brief presentations for background, these sessions should primarily involve a moderator leading a discussion with up to four additional speakers.

Not sure where you fit, but still want to be involved? Nominate yourself as a speaker for the Energy Conference. After review, we’ll let you know if there is a session that would benefit from your participation.

Who should submit content?
