The electricity grid is undergoing a fundamental transformation. Proliferating renewables at the bulk level, distributed energy resources at the grid edge, and large intermittent loads like data centers in between. Grid operators face new volatility that legacy tools were never built to handle.
This panel brings together a cross-section of industry veterans from grid operations, market operations, academia, and solution development to share specific use cases and recent field experience with generative and agentic AI in real grid environments. Panelists will discuss training agents on historical data and grid operating manuals, coordinating agents to respond to operator prompts, flagging anomalous signals, distilling data into actionable information, and taking automatic action.
