Music City Center, Nashville, TN

Leading the Energy Transition

OATI’s globally renowned experts will again contribute their energy-transition expertise at the 2023 TechAdvantage® Expo, convening at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN, March 6-8. Join our subject matter experts at Booth 1401 for demos featuring our mission-critical energy technology solutions, such as OATI webSmartIoT AMIoT™ for advanced metering, EVolution™ for smart EV Charging, GridMind™ for microgrid/DER site controls, and webSmartEnergy™ DERMS and DRMS for demand management that are Leading the Energy Transition.

OATI AMIoT™ Smart Utility AMIoT™:
OATI webSmartIoT™ Smart Utility AMIoT™ for Smart Utilities is a connected devices  IoT platform, which leverages the LoRaWAN open protocol, multipurpose communication back haul. LoRa is inherently a robust IoT platform that scales to provide impressive throughput for millions of data packets. AMIoT, a multi-product smart metering solution for electric, water, and gas metering, is the primary solution from this smart utility portfolio.

OATI Evolution™
As the Energy and Transportation sectors intersect with the Electrification of Transportation (EoT), OATI is there as well, channeling our decades of Power System Engineering experience into first class Smart EV Charging solutions. EVolution is a turnkey Smart EV Charge Station Solution built by leveraging OATI’s 27 years of experience in delivering mission-critical solutions to the energy industry.  EVolution includes Smart EV Charge Stations in a variety of form factors including V2G, a Smart Charge Station Network Management System (NMS), a robust EV Driver Mobile App, and 24/7 support.

OATI GridMind™
The OATI microgrid/DER automated site controller, OATI GridMind™ is an advanced microgrid controller with the capability to intelligently optimize local distributed generation, provide load prioritization, and ancillary services to the grid, GridMind is a critical resource for both consumer-owned and utility-owned microgrids. GridMind optimally schedules available energy resources and orchestrates the operation of prioritized loads to ensure reliable and economic operation of a complex microgrid. This microgrid technology also ties together a variety of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) with multiple other control layers to balance production with demand.

OATI webSmartEnergy® DERMS
As the field-proven, industry leader in DERMS technology, OATI webSmartEnergy® is the right choice for your Demand Response (DR) or Distributed Energy Resource (DER) needs. The OATI DERMS solution brings significant value to your utility by handling a wide-range of DERs. OATI webSmartEnergy® DERMS allows operators to assess the impact of DER assets on individual phase loading and voltage conditions in real-time.  Utilities can continue to rely on this scalable solution as they integrate more DERs into the grid. As the demands of your grid increase, OATI webSmartEnergy® DERMS helps you properly respond to keep prices down and improve your load factor in an effort to maintain a reliable grid.

In addition, Ali Ipakchi, Ph.D., OATI Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer, will be featured in a TechTalk session on Tuesday, March 7, at 12:30 pm, entitled: Accommodating DERs via the Dynamic Operating Envelope. In this session, Dr. Ipakchi will explore how Dynamic Operating Envelopes can be used to accommodate distributed energy into the grid, instead of building more physical assets (poles and wires).

We look forward to seeing you in the Music City March 76th – March 8th!
