Today marks Mexico’s victory against the French Empire in the 1862 Battle of Puebla. Though Cinco de Mayo is not widely celebrated in Mexico, the holiday has been observed in California since 1863 and has grown into a global celebration of Mexican culture and heritage. Our light wall is decked out papel picado style to celebrate!
