¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo! This holiday marks the Mexican army’s victory at the 1862 Battle of Puebla.

According to History.com, Mexican-Americans celebrate the Fifth of May as a way to honor their culture. In Mexico, the holiday is celebrated with military parades and recreations of the famous battle.
