We're celebrating everyone's favorite plumber with today's light display. The arcade game Mario Bros. was released on this day in 1983 in Japan. Originally a Donkey Kong spin-off, the game featured twin plumbers Mario and Luigi and included many elements that would be used in the Super Mario Bros. series.
