OATI enjoyed participating and interacting with customers at this year’s WSPP Spring Conference. For the fourth year in a row, OATI was among the attendees at the annual Western Systems Power Pool (WSPP) 2018 Spring Conference on March 7 – 9, 2018 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, British Columbia.

The WSPP has always provided a catalyst for an efficient and robust wholesale electric power market by continuously refining the WSPP Agreement and promoting trading relationships. This has allowed WSPP members to manage their price risk and power deliverability in an efficient manner and create new opportunities. Currently there are 300 WSPP members and the Agreement is available to power sellers and customers for wholesale.
