OATI webTrans™ is a flexible and comprehensive web-based transaction management system designed to meet the requirements of Control Area and Transmission operators. OATI webTrans™ automates and integrates Scheduling, E-tagging, and OASIS activities through a seamless interface.
There are six modules that can be deployed independently or integrated together and provides a platform for customizations if needed. Each of the six modules is described below:

Scheduling - Provides an E-tag based scheduling solution where E-tag's automatically create schedules and any subsequent E-tag changes (curtailments or adjustments) update the schedule. Non tagged schedules can also be created. Checkout features and nets are provided, as well as the ability to create custom summations of schedules. A minute by minute profile is created to drive the AGC system, and meter data can be received to calculate inadvertent.
E-Tag Validation - Provides validation criteria to automatically validate NERC E-Tags for compliance with transmission provider and control area scheduling practices. Validation includes confirming the OASIS reference is valid and not overscheduled, physical path information is correct, and other such validation checks. The option exists to automatically approve or deny the E-Tag based on the results of the validations.
Curtailment
- Provides for curtailment of E-tags/schedules and TSR reductions within a single guided management process. This enables a Transmission Provider and/or Control Area to enforce limits on scheduling rights over constrained facilities from one solution. Through this guided process, the operator selects the specific constrained facility, start/stop times, and computational method to automate the curtailment of multiple E-tags and/or the reduction of multiple TSR's, all in one simultaneous procedure.
Energy Accounting
- Comprehensive calculations of all scheduled interchange, tie line meter actuals and resource schedules are feasible. Can also create formulas to compute items such as control area load, plant imbalance and so forth. Ad hoc queries of schedule data can be used to create logical expressions for reporting needs. Reports can be saved and scheduled to execute periodically.
ATC/OASIS Automation - Provides a comprehensive ATC calculation engine for either contract path or flow based ATC calculations. Offerings are automatically posted based upon configurable settings. Also provides Transmission Service Request (TSR) validation and processing to fully automate all components of an OASIS solution.
Displacement Advisor - Provides a Transmission Provider a decision support tool to handle the complex determination of TSR priorities when there is limited ATC to support all service requests. Using a rule set to determine relative priority of competing TSR's, it provides the operator a listing of lower priority requests that may be displaced and if the customer has a Right of First Refusal.

OATI webSchedulerTM
The OATI webSchedulerTM is a flexible and comprehensive web based scheduling system designed to meet the requirements of power marketers as well as Control Areas. The OATI webScheduler provides an E-tag based scheduling transaction management solution where each E-tag automatically creates a schedule and is updated automatically with any subsequent E-tag changes (curtailments and adjustments). OATI webScheduler also includes comprehensive ramp integration schemes to generate minute by minute net schedule profile to drive your AGC system. Checkout features are provided for each hour and each schedule as well as the ability to create custom summations of schedules.

OATI webOASISTM
OATI webOASISTM is a web-enabled system designed and implemented to provide FERC compliant OASIS functionality. OATI webOASIS™ utilizes the latest in Web technology to provide seamless access to all transmission information. Many user friendly features exist including templates, ability to save queries, and ablity to query multiple Transmission Providers simultaneously. Transmission Providers can automate the OASIS and all associated functionality by using the OATI webTrans ATC module. |
OATI webSweepTM
OATI webSweepTM is a web enabled system to provide a single solution for interfacing with all OASIS nodes within North America. No longer does a customer have to go to each transmission providers OASIS node independently as they can now use webSweep to interface to all OASIS nodes, including performing queries and submitting TSR's to each Transmission Provider from one system. As an add-on option to webSweep, the webSweepPLUS solution provides a portfolio management feature to track the utilization of each TSR based upon all E-tags. webSweepPLUS provides this tracking on an hourly basis for each TSR.
