OATI Expands its Presence in California Energy Market
Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) has expanded its presence in the California energy market by adding Dr. Farrokh A. Rahimi to its team of experts in California.
Having earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Rahimi has over 30 years of experience in the design and implementation of Energy Management and Market systems. In particular, Dr. Rahimi has been involved in the design and operation of the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) since its formation in 1996.
OATI Successfully Implements the WECC Interchange Tool
Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) is pleased to announce the successful implementation of Phase I of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) Interchange Tool (WIT). The WIT is a regional scheduling system developed to meet the NERC Interchange Authority requirements for the entire WECC region. The first phase of the project delivered three key components: Enhanced E-Tag Validation, WECC Registry, and a common Scheduling Tool.
