OATI Consulting provides management with a review of Risk Management and Credit Policy structure and content, and makes recommendations for the improvement of policies and related procedures including:
- Program Overview and Trading Objectives – Background, organization risk appetite, objectives, definition of risks to be managed, strategy overview, periodic update and approval
- Organization Structure and Reporting Lines – Creation of risk management committee, development of roles and responsibilities, segregation of duties, and escalation procedure
- Transaction Authorizations and Restrictions – Approved instruments, markets, and additional approval requirements
- Credit and Counterparty Risk – Assist with development of approval processes and responsibilities
- Limit Structure and Compliance – Volumetric, location, product, statistical (VaR), trader/desk, stop-loss
- Risk Measurement Methodologies – Provide statistical and non statistical measures, back-testing, stress-testing, and performance benchmarks
- Management Reporting – Generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly requirements and contents, develop process for distribution of reports
- Compliance – Comply with requirements of FERC, NERC, CFTC and market monitor, code-of-conduct
