OATI webTrans Solution in Production with one of the Largest ISOs in the World

Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) webTrans solution has been in production with the California Independent System Operator Corporation (ISO) for reliable scheduling and transmission management.

Minneapolis, MN: May 07, 2015 – OATI was selected and has deployed the ISO with a rich portfolio of tools for Balancing and Transmission Scheduling. ISO manages one of the most expansive and modern power grids in the world, supplying power across six states.

The ISO is utilizing OATI webTrans for Tag Validation, Approval, Scheduling and Curtailment; in addition, OATI webTrans Scheduling allows ISO to monitor Market Awards, associated tags, and automatically adjust the tags when required. OATI webTrans is fully integrated with ISO Market, Energy Management System, as well as Settlement to facilitate the management of Interchange Transactions. The OATI solutions are highly scalable and is provided as a Software-as-a-Service (Saas), hosted from the OATI North American Electric Reliability (NERC) Central Infrastructure Protection (CIP) compliant Cloud Data Center.
